Can the E6k Safely Handle 6 Injectors?

Like the title says, I’m wondering if it can safely handle it or if its time to upgrade Ecu’s I’m seriously contemplating running E85, and my 850/1600 will need an additional set of 1600’s to keep me safe with fuel. Right now I’m set up great for C16 (even though I can’t seem to get a smooth MAP reading, constant small fluctuations) But im wondering if it makes sense to just upgrade now. I haven’t seen anyone run 6 injectors on the E6k in a rotary, even though I’m sure it has been done. I’m also wondering if it should just be wired like the 6 injector setup. Since in the 4 injector setup INJ1,2, go to the prim’s and 3,4 got to the secondary’s. the 6 injector diagram in the e6k manual has each injector feed pushing 2 injectors…

Thanks

E6K can handle 2 low imp. injector per driver no problem, just make sure you've enabled the Extra Injector Driver in the Input/Output setup menu. Connect your 2 additional 1600cc Injectors to the Inj3 and 4 outputs, you'll have to obviously retune the map, i would take the primaries as high as possible before you switch over to the secondaries, since 4x1600cc injector will put in a lot of fuel.

The 850's and 1600's I’m running right now are low imp. I’m confused, right now Inj 1 and Inj 2 got to the 850 Pri's and Inj 3 and 4 go to the 2 1600's. When I add 2 additional 1600's on the haltech manual it says to use INJ 1,2,3 One for each pair and don’t use inj 4

The car is drag only so I don’t get to feel the transition when the injectors switch over. I’m wondering if I should just go to 4x1600 but I still think ill run out of injector for 22 psi and E85

Check which 1600's you got. They are all call low impedence but most are around 5ohms so putting two on one driver is not a problem.
1600's act like 1000-1200cc injectors on E85.

I see , so I can use Inj 3 to drive the 2 1600's for the front rotor and Inj 4 to drive the rear 1600's. Cant believe i didnt grasp that at first LOL

Yes, just make sure you that you've enabled the Extra Injector Drivers in the Input Output setup menu on all 4 outputs.
