BAC Help

S4 TII, Haltech E6k

I'm having a bit of a problem getting the BAC to work..

I got the car running fine when its warm, in fact, it idles perfectly at 860 but i'd like to use the BAC for cold starts.

I have the BAC mounted, however, I have NO water running through it, I took all that crap off. Also, I went to a FMIC so until I tried to use it, I had the air inlet in the top capped with a vac cap.

I set it up with a switched hot and grounded to the haltech PWM#3. I set that up as BAC and 24ms.

When you turn the key on, you can hear the BAC turn on quickly, so its getting the test signal, like the fan and the shift light.

Heres the deal... it won't do CRAP.. i tried a myriad of different settins in the idle control output setting page, but nuthin works. engine cold, engine hot, it just creates a giant vac leak if you take the cap off the input tube. and it never turns on while the car is running.

Coudl somebody post their settings so i can at least find a place to start????

"Here is where it gets a little confusing. If you go to the Output
Options
page by hitting CTRL-O, you will see the Idle Speed Control
feature. In
order to use BAC this feature needs to be left DISABLED. The
settings here
will still work but only if left in Disabled Mode. If Enabled the
E6K will
think you are trying to run a 4-wire stepper motor for idle
control, and not
a BAC valve.

What needs to be done now is to set the throttle stop. What we
generally
need to do is to setup the throttle stop to maintain idle speed
around 50 to
150rpm below the Target Idle Speed we wish to obtain. Once this is
done the
throttle stop can be locked and the TPS will need to be
recalibrated. If the
TPS reads anything other than 0% or 0% Fault then the BAC function
will not
work.

The next step is to go an Enable the BAC Valve PWM Output. Hit
CTRL-W and
go down to BAC Valve and change it to Enable. Once done go to the
Output
Options page and you can start adjusting the Idle Speed Control
settings.
Remember to leave this feature as DISABLED so that the settings
will effect
the BAC and not try to use the 4-wire stepper motor."

Ok ig the thing working... It was a really dumbass problem as to why it wouldn't work at all.

I just need to get the cold settings fine tuned now.
