The page was a list of features of the new v 1.7 beta haltech software. I am assuming that the mods deleted it.

Update on Autotune Feature
Making Haltech ECU's eaven easier to tune!

We are excited about the upcoming release of our Autotune feature for the E8 & E11v2 ECU’s. The Autotune feature allows the tuner to correct the engines Air Fuel Ratio mixtures, quickly and easily. Once a desired AFR Map has been set, the user can then use one of the 3 modes to quickly and easily tune their engine.

The Autotune feature can be used in 3 simple modes, these include:

Quick mode: At any load/RPM point, when the “Q” key is pushed, the ECU will sample the Actual AFR then instantly make an adjustment to meet the Target AFR.

Trace Mode: Particularly useful when dyno tuning, the user can capture a particular dyno power run and graphically analyse the Actual AFR, Desired AFR and Manifold pressure during the run. The user can then select portions of the run and automatically adjust the actual AFR to the Target AFR

2D Logging Mode: When using the 2D Fuel Delivery Map, Wideband logging can be activated. The ECU will begin logging the engines AFR’s and compare these to the target AFR map. Whenever a different actual AFR is found, the ECU will save an AFR correction value, shown as a marker on the tuning bars. This value will be updated whenever possible, and applied to the tuning maps when the user permits. The larger the sample collected, the more accurate the corrected AFR will be towards its target.

Further developments will be made to the Autotune feature, allowing long term fuel corrections to take place, allowing the Haltech ECU to continually correct the tune, in the same fashion as all late model factory engine management systems. This is just one of the many innovative new features being developed by Haltech Engine Management Systems.

last night I played with autotune using the b32 firmware that was just released. With halwin 1.70.1 beta. It sorta works. The quick tune is real good at tuning idle fast.

Firmware
Trigger type.
· Improved constant duty ignition on Motronic trigger.
What's that about? A couple people have told me 60-2 trigger wheel support was abysmal in the past.

Well at best its buggy, thats probably why they didn't release it yet. The way it is now you could use it to tune idle. You couldn't use it for much else.

That sounds pretty good.

I'm looking forward to using this with my E8 when the time comes.
