thats such an old harness...I think it will be tough to find someone with an extra.
if you can, send me the the ECU pin outs, the wire colors for the harness you have...the schematic, and I will try to make since of it all.
if you have wires in the ECU plug for the crucial components you can make it work.
what do you mean it doesn't connect to the lap??
since its old technology, you probably need two reluctor adapters...ref and sync

it says not connected when I try to get it to go online .is there a way to tell if the ecu is bad ?the wiring i got with it didnt look good I thinned the harness and removed all wires that did not go to haltech .Is there a way to test the ecu itself?

check the serial cable it self...I had one go bad.
but even if there is nothing terminated to the engine...the ECU should go online with a computer...and tell you faults for everything missing.

I'm not following?!?! all the wires that did not go to the haltech???
if its the E6A harness, don't they all plug into the ECU?
or did someone give you a 13B-RE harness terminated to a haltech plug for the ECU??
