alternate TPS part.

My new haltech TPS is bad.
What are the warranties on items like these?

I heard that Haltech quality has gone down on the TPS and that there are way more of them being bad.

Is there an alternate part like a ford or GM TPS that fits like the Haltech?
If so what is that part number or the car that it is on?

I dont think the parts are bad, if its installed incorrectly or forced, it brakes, thus not a quality problem. At any rate, the stock TPS is always ideal instead.

On Series 4 cars, the stock TPS may be used, just make sure that after you calibrate it you have at least around a 20% range on it.

hey mine is acting like its bad and has been since day one,it was a bitch to get it on the throtle shaft and ive been thinking that i may have messed it up. mine has a issue where it doesnt read anything from 1-10% (the tps does move and still no reading) also it will be smooth from 10-35% then it will jump down to 7-15% with out letting off the gas.

this casuse a hesitaion and bogging feeling

im pretty sure that i was told never to use the s4 tps, its not a full range tps and could be used on a s5 tb since the cam acts as a roller instead of plunger.

mine did the same thing .. Yours definitely sounds bad.

I got a new replacement TPS from Haltech for free and this 1 is much better but seems like it has a small spot that some times causes issues.
