13b-rew swap fuel pump wont turn on

i am running a e6x on a 90 convertible with a 13b-rew. ive hooked both orange wires up. one to the fuel pump other to the main power in the main fuse box. turn the car to the on position and.............silence. the motor turns; dosnt start. but turns. ive looked around on the net and everything ive seen hasn't fixed the problem yet. if anyone has any ideas im here to try them. or if someone that has done the swap and can recall which wire goes to which (diagrams are nice as well) that would be help full. i already have the haltech diagram. a 3rd gen diagram (although it dosnt do much for a s5...thanks for your time. im sorry if things are worded improperly ive been working on this car all night literally im a little sleep deprived

bump for your thread I'm about to install the fuel pump relay also in my 91 13b-re swap I was also looking for the color codes to the wiring on the fuel pump to avoid this hassle... what color wire did you hook up the fuel pump to on the harness thats attached to the pump??? what's the hot lead color????

if your using the haltech e6x(and im pretty sure e6k) then there should be 4 wires coming out of the haltech fuel relay. 2x orange wires (one has a gray stripe), 1 gray, and 1 black. the black wire goes to a ground point in the chassis. the gray wire can be wired to a 12v+ ignition on point. one of the orange wires(haltech diagram: use orange w/ gray stripe) is connected to your battery (or main fuse box). and the other orange wire goes all the way back to your fuel pump (the closer it is to the actual fuel pump the better). at least thats how i did it. and was told to by ari & chris at rotary performance.

but this is still not working for me, i honestly think my relay is bad. please try it this way and let me know your results!!

ok so i got my fuel pump working. just FYI a good ignition point is the orange wire on your turbo timer harness.

in need of a base map

im currently trying this base map "13b-stock.6xm" but ive been having a little bit of difficulty getting the car to stay on. i am using the e6x, along with its internal 2.5 bar map sensor. im using the stock REW ignitor and coils, injectors, stock turbos but non-sequential, and walbro fuel pump. and if anyone is familiar with the map above i changed the settings to what is on the k2rd site. (spark mode-direct fire/output type-constant charge/coil charge time-3.1ms/output edge-falling) thanks for your time and any help is appreciated.
