Hay guys, I have a red 87 FC S4 N/A that was stolen from my apartment complex in beaverton oregon on the early morning of october 10th.the plate number is 237 FPF. Ill have pictures up soon. Its red, chrome stock turbo II rims. Full corksport single exhaust. Rolled back lip that is painted black, head light covers are black, white rotor sticker in top right of winshield. Recaros, HIDs. I got word from a guy, he thought he saw it in vancouver washington. I just need some friendly eyes out there for me. Hoping you guys can help. My phone number is 971 506 7488. New member here with a 1984 Mazda RX-7 that starts but backfires so hard it blew the muffler right off...any ideas what is causing this problem? Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

Hey guys I am new to this but I am here because i am having issues solving an issue with my 89 rx7 Convertible. I already looked at frequently asked question and there is no answer.

I rebuilt my engine and when i tried to start it, it starts for a few seconds then it shuts off. Ive already tried adding oil and unflooding it. It seems that when i press the gas pedal it immediately cuts off. Any ideas?

New Member as of today (Sunday (11/18/12). I'm the original owner of a 1989 RX7 Turbo II. I thought the car needed a tune up. Brought it to the Mazda dealer in Missoula, MT. Ofter the tune up it's still running bad ( rough idol, frequent stalling, poor acceleration). According to the dealership mechanic, it is all because of poor compression on the rear rotor (5.8,5.9,5.8). Front rotor compression is 6.6,6.8,6.8

the car has 90,000 miles, and although I feel the engine is on its way out, I cant help think that something els is causing the problem. After reading about low compression, starting issues I don't have. The car start right up. Any ideas or a recommendation, or a good mechanic I can take it (in Montana)?
