Holy Crap... seems like every one is out of touch here. I am in the ARMY branch and own a 94 FD touring edition. I am out of FT. Stewart, GA and would like to start up some sort of club or group once I get back from deployment if anyone is in the nearby area and is interested.

@turbo89beater if you see white smoke, then its unburned fuel. Did you change out the spark plugs recently, possibly getting the wrong ones? Check your cables as well! Now the black smoke is NO BUENO!!! Means your burning off oil, THAT you might wanna get that checked. Get a compression test done. I have seen something like what you are explaining happen before and it was a bad rotor/apex seal :/ Hopefully this is not the issue. Lastly is you ARE gonna crush/junk it, I till be more than happy to take any donations of unwanted RX's :grin:

hey ive got a 1996 rx7 does any one have any ideas on why as soon as it gets to 3000 revs it drops back down to 1 ? belive it may be a faulty sensor some where ? it has a apexi power fc computer so could it be somthing to do with that ? any ideas ?
