i'd be in for a version of the above, as well as a cover for close to the firewall but not necessarily attached to the strut towers, similar to this:

Is there any way that you could make carbon fiber parts for the first gen rx7...

looking for Carbon fibe OR Fiber Glass parts like:

Hood
Fenders
Header Pan.
Head light covers
gas tank door
Doors
Door Panel's
dash boards
sun roof/moon roof

Devari Carbon 07-29-10 01:49 AM

Currently doing FD brake ducts, after that is FD interior panels then we might get in to the 1st gen chassis...

I really want to do those engine covers for the FD but we need a car to work on.

Also any one want to donate there FD interior panels? For the interior im going to do each piece in separate group buys bc not every one is going to want the full interior kit, for example GB 1 center console, GB 2 radio trim, GB 3 gauge bezel etc

evot23 07-29-10 04:24 AM

PM Gringo Grande. He was trying to get interior panels done and had an interest thread in the vendor forum.

FCRyosuke07 07-29-10 12:39 PM

I've got a passenger side door panel Id be willing to donate, its got no plastics, is a bit dirty, and a stray dog bit into it a little but i think its usable for what you need. :P Maybe you should integrate the door handle into it so it doesn't keep breaking.

I'll be following this for the center console updates; I could donate this piece as well, but Id need a CF one back ;)

I'll keep you in mind about those door panels.

For got to mention that any one who donates a piece will get a free carbon version in return.

I would also suggest integrating the plastic trim into the door panel. That is the root problem for all the flexing and noise the door panels make. I actually was working on a mold to do this but just haven't had the time to finish it, if I ever will.

Shineauto makes the rear mud guards

Door panels - I believe Seibon makes the door panels

Carbon interior - JKL used to make them (I have their set). If you guys are going to make some, key will be the fitment and install. JKL version required quite a bit of tweaking.

Knight Sport engine cover - Obviously that's RHD version and you would have to make the LHD version.. but also, if I recall, that's a structural version and needs to be designed in such so it will handle or reduce flex.

I was going to make the non bose rear hatch cover few years ago... If you guys make that before I get my guy here to make it, than I'm all for one :)

I also like the carbon pieces here that cover up some of the wiring stuff.. If you guys make that, I'm also in for a set.

Just letting everyone know that the interior panels are in the works(center console, ac panel, gauge bezel and gauge hood).

Already have some one donating the pieces and now trying to figure out the prices.

Evopanda 08-04-10 06:42 PM

Cant wait :>

wickedrx7 08-05-10 02:05 PM

What about carbon fiber scuff plates. I don't think anyone is making them anymore? You prices seem pretty reasonable, what could you do that for?

Ruler_Mark 08-06-10 02:51 PM

99 spec plateless front bumper?

I like the cwest c2 imitation one that carbon creations offers but if i touch anything it would shatter as all fiber does. but with the 99 got the bottom rubber piece to take the beating.

More folks need to get in on the sunroof buy going on NOW:

ZumSpeedRX-7 08-09-10 09:11 PM

i would be in for the straight race CF door cards and CF doors. I really like the CF engine panels on the VR.

StealthFox 08-10-10 06:10 AM

the interior parts are carbon fiber replacement parts? if so im in for a full set. ill donate the door panel plastics to get those done too, i live local to you.

Yes they will be carbon fiber replacement(plain weave, twill weave or black fiberglass).

There is already another vendor that has the door plastics made so i will only make a "kit" that consist of 4 pieces shifter panel, AC panel, gauge bezel and gauge hood. We're estimating this kit to cost around $800-$1,000. Im still working with a member to send me the pieces.

I'll start that group buy once the brake duct group buy is close to being complete.

StealthFox 08-12-10 11:37 PM

can you send me to the vendor that makes the cf door plastics? also if your member doesnt send you the pieces i have a full set in los angeles.

ppritchard 08-15-10 06:03 PM

Haven't seen anyone selling the door pieces, anyone know who that is?

hades 08-15-10 06:52 PM

StealthFox 08-17-10 12:55 PM

the door pieces are being made be evo-r with a thread on the interior section of the forum, on the first one or two pages because its a recent topic
