The plan is to make it so we just ship the covers along with posting an instructional video on how to install the covers yourself.
It would be great if we could install all the covers. But that is far from cost effective for the buyers.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
Who are you guys using for the Alcantara vendor? Honestly, I've had this granite Ultrasuede in my Integra for YEARS and the quality is alright. According to the Upholstery guy I used its OEM grade, $120/yd stuff. It wore out on the center console rather quickly, so when I do the FB's interior, I want something VERY high end.

Hey Austin,
Do you have a solution for recovering door panels, especially with Alcantara? I know most that I've ever seen either don't fit well, or end up coming unglued or sagging.
Headliners as well—is Alcantara really good for this, or is there another fabric that is more frequently used on high-end sports cars?

Which is why we will be offering bolster covers with our kits. Vinyl or leather bolster covers will wear much better than the alcantara itself. So we will utilize them to protect the covers in areas where abrasion might cause issues over time. The bolster covers will be available in matching alcantara also. That way, if there is excessive wear, you can just replace a bolster cover instead of an entire seat cover.

Headliners are not an issue for an fd. We have done several in alcantara. In my opinion, it is the single best piece to wrap in alcantara for an FD interior with the dash coming in a close second. It adds a very rich and classy look to the entire interior.

You might see good results if you clean that arm rest with a cleaner designed for alcantara or ultra suede. We use Sonax Alcantara Foam. It is one of the best we have found for removing dirt from synthetic suedes. We do stock it here if you would like to buy some. Just send me a pm.
Thanks,
Austin

Ok guys, finally got these red alcantara seats wrapped up. I will get some better pictures of them in the next day or two, but here is a couple teasers for now. Our customer opted to do the custom embroidery along with matching alcantara bolster covers.
We will be setting up the group buy shortly. Pricing will break down as follows:
Full alcantara seat covers in any color, including matching bolster covers: $1550 shipped (CONUS)
Custom Embroidery: Add $100
Leather Seat Covers: TBD. Pricing for leather should be very similar. If someone wants to commit to doing a set and be the guinea pig, then we will make some up.
Price drops will be $50 for every 5 members that sign up with 20+ being the price of $1350 and being the last price drop.
If anyone is interested in bolster covers for their current OE recaro covers, we will offer them also.
Black Vinyl Bolster Covers: $100 shipped
Alcantara Bolster Covers:$150 shipped
Thanks,
Austin

Mike Mauro(ZoomZoom) and Rich(GoodfellaFD3S) stopped by the shop on Sunday afternoon. Mike was nice enough to snap a few pictures and share them with me.
Included are some high quality shots of the Red Recaro seats. We are getting close to launching the group buy. I am working with Eric(Ericsworld) on ironing out all the details that will be need for the installation process. He purchased one of the initial sets of covers that we used to pattern the seats. Even though he had a local upholstery shop do the installation, the covers are still not 100% installed correctly. We want to make sure that our customers have all the information needed to properly install these covers as wrinkle free possible.
Thanks for everyone's patience.
