I'm curious to see where they are all used on the subframes. I can probably have some collars made for much less, if I were to get dimensions and locations.

After my last conversation with the Spoon rep and the annoyance that he changed the price on me again...I am looking at making my own design and making these for less than half the price.

Who would be in if we could sell a similar (but legally different) product for $200+shipping.

Blox makes a great kit that I used you my civic scca car. I wonder how many of those could be cross referenced and used on the FD?

So here is the plan...I work in the aviation industry and have access to friends that manufacture aircraft parts...in small batches.

What I don't have is the measurements for the washers, my car is being used right now. So we have the material (special aluminum) and the lathe equipment, just need someone with a car that is disassembled...

If someone can help me with measurements u will get them at material cost!

Pm me...

Seems like you could replicate this effect by bolting up the subframe as usual, then drilling four or so holes through subframe to the frame rails, tapping them, and putting machine bolts through.

WTF happened to the "edit post" button?... I was going to add, it would also be a cheap way to see if there was any performance gain to be had.

It might make sense to buy these directly from RE-A. $300 for a full set plus shipping/fees from Japan.

Front Kit:
GB: Chassis Stiffening, Gauging interest in Spoon Sports Rigid Collar kit-sreklcd.jpg

Since mass production car focuses on production efficiency, body and subframe
There is a gap in the bolt hole of the subframe
It is not securely fixed to the body, at the time of cornering etc.
Misalignment occurs at the fastening part, handling becomes unstable.

It has been overlooked for many years, focusing on this part and color
By inserting it, we remove the negative part of mass production car condition
Driving with core with rich straightness of car body
It was able to be realized.

This product has a reputation for tuning Honda vehicles

We have installed on our demo car etc and the effect has been proven.

(Mazda other models are also under development.)

* With the long-standing development of "SPOON"

There are no negative elements by installing this part.

· Although it is rigid, it does not become too hard.

Through the product of rigid color, once again true
Please feel the body rigidity!

Rear Kit:
GB: Chassis Stiffening, Gauging interest in Spoon Sports Rigid Collar kit-cmn11vx.jpg

It will become more anxious when installed.
By installing this "Super Buredom", the rear member's
It can improve unpleasant movements.

It's just hard to stomach several hundred dollars for stainless steel washers.

Buy a set, 3D scan, replicate for $100.

I don't disagree... but I think even getting down that cheap might be tough. You would also need to make like, 100 of them.

This is the actual company that makes them for RE-Amemiya...I think*

But currently RHDJapan has a price of $210 + shipping

That's just the rear... You also need the fronts:
https://www.rhdjapan.com/re-amemiya-...ront-fd3s.html

But what I'm not clear on is that RE-A has three listed on their site:
GB: Chassis Stiffening, Gauging interest in Spoon Sports Rigid Collar kit-igyi7t5.png

(using image because RE-A's site doesn't support direct links)

Someone tell me wwhat this means:
"The rear "shake" which is noticeable even just, but "rigid color" at the front
It will become more anxious when installed.
By installing this "Super Buredom", the rear member's
You can improve uncomfortable movements.
Town ride ~ Circuit faction
I will recommend it to all customers.
Although it is possible to use this product separately,
We strongly recommend using in combination with the front "Rikikara".

※ The material is made of stainless steel."
