If you look closely we also made the runner entrance the same size as the exhaust sleeve ID. The welded units step down very abruptly and are much smaller at the entrance(about 6mm smaller) We have 5 units here that will be going out as soon as I personally check them. I will call or email everyone who wanted in on the 1st batch. I am out of town, but Shawn can answer the phones etc(763 753 9939).

Any input on turbo manifold's and anti reversion lips? Is it really splitting hairs with such short runners compared to N/A long tube applications?
Mazda has incorporated this into the production exhaust housing sleeve.
That big flat angled top reflects the reversion wave down away from the exhaust port opening.

Deposit paid for full, cast 8374 kit. I had no option but to pay $50 shipping as well so $450 total paid. I'd also like to add the Turbosmart recirculation BOV option to the final kit.

We are at 17. We have not yet recieved the samples. Those were photos sent to us. They are enroute. I will check them next week and if all goes to plan send the first 5 out. I will update the timeline on the rest next week. Everyone will be contacted before the manifolds ship for their balance and any extra parts.

18!! and we will receive the samples to give a full confirmation on fitment! Then it will be a few short weeks for the rest of the individuals that are not in the first 5! So once we confirm that they are perfect please share with your fellow rotary heads so that we can get to the full 30 deposits to get the awesome price of $500 per manifold!! I will make sure to help towards this goal my self to be apart of the group buy total!

Samples are in and they are perfect. We have test fit them on a mock engine, and in a car here. Identical fitment to the welded versions. All the machining is spot on too.
We are working on an ETA for the group buy batch.
These are going to outflow our welded units now that I have seen them side by side. Every transition is perfect. We bolted the manifolds on a spare rotor housing and looked through and its pretty much seamless transition from the ID of the exhaust sleeve to the turbo manifold. The transition from the round runner to the T4 flange is a lot better than the welded & ported version too. Not to mention they taper as they reach the port where as the welded units do not. We are extremely happy with these.
