GB #2: FD Aluminum Interior Passenger Door Handle: SBG

SakeBomb Garage Aluminum interior door handles!

As most of us know the OEM plastic interior door handle was poorly designed by Mazda and is prone to breaking, for a number of different reasons. Mazda also charges a very high price for another plastic replacement with the same flaws. SakeBomb Garage has finally created a permanent solution to Mazda’s design flaw.

Our identical replica is aluminum, and will last the life of your FD! No longer do you have to frighten unsuspecting girlfriends or passengers by screaming “DON’T PULL THAT HANDLE!”. It may take some getting used to, but that feeling in the pit of your stomach when a passenger closes the door will subside. As with all of our products, new mounting hardware is included. We were able to replicate both the 93 and 94 interior finishes, as well as color for a completely OEM appearance.

Highlights:
  • All aluminum construction (will never break)
  • SS mounting hardware included
  • OEM interior match for both 93 and 94 plastics
  • Cheaper than Mazda. Better than Mazda.

This is an IDENTICAL reproduction in aluminum which will solve the problem Mazda ignored once and for all. The stock cover is easily re-applied from your old plastic handle for a 100% identical OEM stock look (or they can be covered in any type of leather, vinyl, carbon fiber, etc... the sky is the limit). Personally we prefer reusing the stock cover for a completely OEM look.

Price: $225.00
Interior Door handle GB purchase link
*Price includes paypal fees and shipping within the continental US
**Please note what finish you would like when submitting payment (93 or 94)

There are only 30 spots available so submit payment as soon as possible!

We are running this group buy differently then previously. Please visit the link below to our website submit payment. We will ship all orders once the group buy is concluded a month from now (count down listed on our site )

Thanks,
Dan and Heath!

We are working on it guys! We just have a few projects in the works right now so it may be a bit. If we can get enough interest on the Aussy rotary forum or the european Rx-7 forums we could probably make it happen quicker. We've had a few people on here contact us inquiring about RHD handles.

We've had a bunch of orders come in for the 93 smooth handles... less of the 94's but they're catching up.

Once it ends, that's it... there's been a ton of demand for these so reserve your spot before it's too late!

http://www.sakebombgarage.com/shop/6-fd3s

Three weeks and counting (check the website for the clock/counter). The GB will automatically lock at that time and we will not take any GB orders after the close. Since all the orders/payments are going through the website we can't bend the rules for any "late" orders.

Thanks,
The Management

^ Thanks we're getting quite a few rolling in so we may actually run out of quantity before the end of the GB... maybe we under-estimated how many we should have made, but I called the foundry and it's too late in the manufacturing process to change the production quantity. So heads up it's first come first serve.

Also for some reason we're getting a TON more orders for 93 smooth finish (guess there are just more 93's out there, but for the original GB it was about even for smooth vs textured). Unfortunately the finish is actually part of the casting process and we made half smooth and half textured, so we'll probably run out of 93 smooth's much sooner.

How does the 94 finish compare with the 95 finish? Is it the same or different?

Should be fixed now...and shipping refunds should have been issued Let us know if we missed you

GB price isn't going to last much longer so if you're on the fence now's the time to send payment

Update... the handles are almost finished with production (one more week or so for the CNC machine work). Then they're off for finishing work (black coating), and lastly boxing them up.

If you still haven't submitted payment please do so ASAP as the GB will be closing soon. After the GB close we will have a handful of extra handles but they will only be listed at retail pricing
