Cost on the tray is going to be in the $150 range.

Is this being locked out after 10 spots are filled?
I'm still trying to decide what battery I'm going to run.

Thanks.

Good news!

We got all the trays - they look great.

I also dropped one off at the powdercoater for an estimate. Basically, it'll cost $15 a unit, bringing the total price to $165, powdercoated flat black.

Sound fair?

Does that include the rods and top beam?

Just dropped off all the trays at the powdercoater. Should have them back in a week!

The beam - yes.

Sourcing JHooks right now, so originally, "no" - but now, "maybe"?

We got JHooks! We'll include them with every order.

Also, we should be picking up from the powdercoater in a day or two.

If you want to order now, we setup a page on the site:

That looks right! It says 51r - which is the Group size this is designed for.

Just a heads up!

We've started shipping these and discovered the included J-Hooks may be a taaaaad long. Nothing that impedes install or hood closing - but it might look a bit goofy.

We sourced 10in J-Hooks since I've seen Group 51 batteries listed between 8-3/4in to 9-3/8in tall depending on manufacturer.

If your battery is on the shorter side and you have too much left over thread, cutting them is straight forward. Hack saw, dremel, angle grinder, bolt cutters - just choose your weapon and clean up the thread once you're done.

Top quality product! Ordered and shipped the same day. Postage to europe was a record 5 days (normal USPS time is 10ish).
The tray has amazingly good welds and is solid. The black color is even and nice!

@DaleClark mentioned that Miata J hooks were a bit shorter, I'm not sure about the measurements. My stock J hooks from atkins are a little taller than the battery, but no interference and don't bother me enough to make the priority spend list.

Just went and measured the J-bolts on my car, they are 6.5" approx. from the bottom of the hook to the top.

I am actually running a Miata battery in a modified stock tray for my front mount and they fit perfectly. REALLY wish I could use the Turbojeff tray but it doesn't fit with my front mount.

You should get rid of the front mount

Sorry to bring this back up. Im trying to see if this will allow a little more room to place the battery because I have the M2 intake box and M2 medium mount intercooler. Factory battery box and tray will not fit. I literally just need like 1 inch of space to fit the battery next to the intercooler

I use a pettit TT intake w/ divider, M2 Medium w/ pettit duct, and the original Turbojeff 51r tray. There is plenty of room to work with. I would suggest finding a Turbojeff SMIC crossmember too!

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have any pics of your engine bay?
