I'd like a blank one of these. Is the CF plain or twill? Can I still get in on this?

 

Yes, a blank one is possible! our Carbon version is standard 2x2 twill. If you want plain it can be done, but will have to be special ordered.

Thanks for those who have placed orders! we've been churning out a bunch of cooling plates and are finishing up the last few before we trim/prep them to send to the painters (CF Versions)

Just a heads up we have updated the pricing. At the current price for Carbon Fiber units, we are actually losing money vs the Fiberglass version.

Updated pricing is as follows

Fiberglass version $175
+$100 for Carbon Fiber

Standard cut outs: hood latch/ bump stops for hood
Optional cut out: hood prop notch

Additional cut outs
A/c Condenser
Greddy FMIC pipe cut out

I apologize for the increase in Carbon price but it takes more time to make vs the Fiberglass version and we are making less. Please note ALL our carbon parts are clear coated which adds more cost to our carbon. This will prolong the life from UV rays and prevent it from yellowing vs majority of companies who just use a UV resistant clear coat which eventually yellows and becomes foggy.

Updates?

 

Sorry for the long delay. We ran into some issues with the cosmetic finishes, in short, we have about half a dozen Carbon panels that we had to scrap. We have refined our process and I think we have resolved the issue (also why all our Carbon parts are temporarily removed from our site)

Please allow for roughly another week as we want to send you something we are proud to put our name on!

 

You selling the one you will scrap? The updated cost is a bit high for me

most of the "messed up" carbon ones is cosmetic, so they're actually the "FG" ones were selling sprayed black..

after a few more attempts we refined out process! I have possession of 2 and 2 are getting cleared and will be back monday. I should have all the orders placed shipped out on tuesday.

for everyone who order THANK YOU for your patience with us, these took wayyy longer then they should have

 

Once you have the process matured let me know, I will take one.

Besides my daughter is ready for more bubble gum and bubble soap.

I noticed on your site you just had the fiberglass up and saw your updates here. Quick question though, when is the next batch of carbon panels ready?

 

We actually have one blank panel left. It has one minor blemish on the bottom right.. i got a bristle from the brush stuck between the gel coat and clear coat its where the bumper meets so its not really visible. I'll get pics later today, because of the minor blem I'll throw in free shipping (anywhere in the US) If anyone wants it I can notch it for the hood prop and add the cutout for A/C (+$5) and/or cutout for Greddy FMIC (+$5)

 

doh- But to answer your question we'll be doing another run in the next week or two. Due to the last run and other product runs, we got hit by a bunch of orders at once and delayed our turn around time by over twice as long. In order to avoid that situation again, we will now be stocking items and customizing them to order (cutouts) This will help us speed up turn around times but the downside is if we are out of stock, there will be a longer wait period since we will be doing runs every so often..

we're actually redesigning these. We will begin offering them in Aluminum and reducing the price shortly. We cannot make blitz fmic versions as we do not have that set up on had. Customers will have to custom fit them (make appropriate cut out).

 

Will you be making any that fit the Pettit Racing Cool Charge IC?

 

We just released Version 2.0! All cooling plates are now made out of aluminum with a matte black prefinish
Main differences
1/2" shorter - So it does not matter if you are using the hood prop or not
Tightened up the cut outs to hide more of the hood latch internals

I was going to buy one with just the cut outs for bump stops.
