I received mine yesterday. Very nice product - top-notch quality. Attaches like OEM to my Bride rails. For me though, the position of the holder rubs my right leg too much so it's a no go for me. Not a knock on the product as I can't see a better way to alter the design and have it work differently.

 

The passenger side mount might be a better fit for you in that case!

We just had a customer out at a track day with his and he had nothing but positive things to say.

If you want to swap it out - zero problem.


...also, glad to know it works with Bride rails - we only tested OEM and Spirit-R/RZ rails/sliders.

Well, I think our solution looks a little more OEM. Not to mention a bit more hidden. Additionally, mounting is completely reversible and takes all of 30 seconds to install/remove. It’s also designed specifically for the FD3S - not just a universal solution.

I’m not exactly sure where that Amazon one would install...? It also seems to require you to mount it with screws - which is a non-starter for me. With the limited amount of interior panels left in existence - the last thing I want to do is drill into one.

 

I received mine very quickly (last week) but haven't had time to open the box yet! I'm looking forward to getting this in.

Is it too late to get in on the group buy? 95$ each is pricey... hoping the LHD passenger side one mounts closer to the trans tunnel as opposed to the passenger door?

 

i cant speak for the group buy pricing.
but i have the LHD Passenger one, both driver/passenger side mount to the trans tunnel side. neither option mounts near the doors as that would interfere with getting in and out of the car.
