I have been submitting RFQs to a ton of shops and I have finally foumd a shop that is willing to work with our fairly low numbers. If ~40 people are serious about buying these parts we can get the parts at a reasonable price. I will get the official group buy going and get some in car testing going and I think you guys will be very happy with the final product and pricing. I plan on getting the group buy in motion by mid april and parts ahipped by early may. Thank you guys for sticking with me and providing all the feedback!!

When you're ready to get everything finalized, I'd suggest a final revision to the list so you understand the demand best. I've changed my mind for example and think I want the normal gas pedal, not the wide pedal. I am just not sure how the wide pedal will feel.

The current list is just a list of interested parties. When this becomes an official group buy with actual costs specified, I'm expecting that we will have to start a whole new list from scratch to get real, firm commitment for Sideo.

Hi guys, was out of town for a week but have some good news.

I installed a pedal in my daily driver Honda and the pedal sticking is a non-issue. Ive been driving the car for two weeks or so and there is no difference between the stock plastic pedal and the aluminum one. I even wore some work boots a few times to try it out.


I submitted the paperwork for the group buy this morning and as soon as I get my new username I will start the official group buy thread
