i could make the LED inserts but i figured most people wouldn't want to do all the hassle of stud repairs, baking the S5 housings and prying them open and cleaning the sealant or cutting the S4 lenses apart to be able to do the modification.
it honestly would save me from alot of headache though because all of that is VERY time consuming for the amount i originally asked for this modification. hindsight, the few sets i did make i hope those who purchased them do like them. in the future though it won't be quite as cheap or i may do as you said and just make the inserts for those who want to do it on their own.
to those who were curious about why i used that type of LED stripping, the side or frontal aimed LEDs have very poor light emissions and generally had a much more purple tint to them, these were the brightest and closely spaced that i could find with a narrowness that would fit inside the tight confines that are required.

when i do make more i think the new direction will be amber LEDs with 2 independent relays so that they will replace the front markers.
i have already finished the ambers for my car but have yet to finish wiring them up to work as turn signals. i don't really drive my car much so will get some reference pictures whenever i can, of course at this point it would be more of a tease than anything though so i figured there was no rush.
i think the amber lights will be more popular anyways but will still offer both colors.

An even more complicated and cool setup would be to have the white leds turn off and the yellow leds blink when the turn signal is applied, then the white come back on after the turnsignal goes off, just like the Audis.

of course i could make the LED units personally for the required spacing and color combo but then it would require yet even more time so the cost would be more than the ~$200 i am expecting for the amber turn/marker set.

drove my car into work today so took some pics of da amberlamps...

used various camera settings as it can be difficult to gauge LED light output. most accurate would probably be #2.

as of now i still have cut off production of the modified FTP lenses until further notice(when things slow down enough to where i can start making them again). they realistically hardly paid the electric bill for the shop at the $100 price i was charging also so next runs will be priced higher.
i also have an S5 tail lamp waiting dissection for LED modification process/technique to be developed so hopefully those will be coming soon as well.
