FRP/Carbon Fiber parts available for FC
Hello,
I am new to this forum but not to composite materials. I run a website selling Miata FRP/CF parts (carbonmiata.com) for around a year now and I am trying to go on with the other late 80s-2000s Mazda models.
CarbonMiata's reputation is becoming bigger and bigger now so I hope I can serve the RX-7 community the same way by offering quality parts at an affordable price.
Long story short, I want to develop parts for FC but also sell the existing parts that the workshop I am working with has already available.
Here is the list for FC:
RX7 FC NI Hood
RX7 FC Dmax Hood
RX7 FC Door Sills
RX7 FC Sexy Style Front Bumper
RX7 FC Sexy Style Rear Bumper
Rx7 FC Sexy Style Side Skirt
RX7 FC3S Sunroof Panel
RX7 FC3S OEM Headlight Covers
RX7 FC3S Vented Headlight Covers
RX7 FC3S Triangle
All those parts are available in FRP/CF/CK.
I would be happy if you could first tell me which part you would like to see in a GB.
One problem is that unfortunately I don't own a RX-7 here because they are nearly impossible to find. I only saw 2 in the 8 years I spent in China.
I know that people like pictures of products fitted on the car before they commit to anything so if somebody here, with a FC of course, could be my beta tester. This person should be able to take some nice pictures to show the community the quality of the parts and in return would get a - very - good discount.
Thanks to contact me on the forum or by email: info@carbonRX7.com
Cheers,
Marc
P.S: I will make the same post for FD parts

always nice to see someone new making parts for our cars!
i would like to see a roof spoiler similar to the one you make for the miata hardtop, maybe a little less aggressive. maybe also a duckbill type spoiler for the back. i had a cf turbo II hood scoop at one point (just the scoop surround, not a whole cf hood), but the mounting studs were tiny and weak and it flew off on a back road and broke. the company i bought it from had horrible customer service so i never even attempted to get another one.
interior parts are always nice, i have a triple gauge pod in my subaru that mounts where the factory clock goes, something like this would be near the top of my list to buy for my rx7
the same previously mentioned company has other interesting CF parts such as a blank cf center console replacement that you can cut out your own accessory holes for (gauges, HVAC if you have it, stereo etc), but along with their customer service they have pretty inflated prices.
i looked at your carbonmiata website and i like what i see. will you have a carbonrx7 website in the near future?

As I said earlier, if somebody can provide them to me, he can get back in carbon fiber for a VERY good price.

I can definitely do one. I would just need an OEM sample and I can start those also. I work very closely with one of the best workshop so it would not be a problem. The only thing is to put my hands on samples as those cars are non existant here!
Let me know if you can be of any help!

things I most want in CF , are Center con blanks ( and shifter surround) Moon roof panel , and door mirrors. I know most of these parts have been made by other manufacturers, but hard to get hands on in the states, at least I have had a hard time finding these parts for less than a small fortune. when mostly flat non structural parts start costing more than 1k its way too rich for my blood.

I'm loving that hood, but concerned about shipping costs from Shainghai.
That said, I'd like to see replacement A pillars with drivers side incorporating 2-3 gauge pods. They're made for 1st Gen and 3rd Gens, but have never to my knowledge been made for 2nd Gens. Please, for both Verts (my case) as well as coups. And should be a companion passenger side replacement so it doesn't look mismatch funny.

I know I would end up trashing them, so at least its easier to repair and repaint
just noticed that you are in shanghai though, so the shipping would still suck right?
I would go so far as to accept payment of a bunch of them to save shipping and send them out to others in the states.

Group Buy?
^^^
Rob XX 7, US East Coast Distributor?
You buy three, I buy one and Rotary #10 buys one and we have a group buy.
Carbon XX, how about pricing/delivery/shipping. While your at it, how about pricing/delivery/shipping for that hood?
