Gringo Grande = fantastic seller
Hey,
I would like just to make a comment on a transaction that I had with Gringo Grande on this forum.
He had a set of 'flawless' S5 taillights for sale. So I jumped on em and had them sent out to me. I work nights and shift work, so I have a hard time getting to the computer, but none the less he notified me via e-mail (which I do get to check every couple days or so) of a slight delay. He even gave me a couple of phone numbers where to reach him.
Within a quick time I received both tails in amazing packaging. And even to make sure the tails were safe, there even was a pillow involved. Both taillights where as they described and in amazing shape.
Gringo Grande also made the note that if anything wasn't as he desribed, he would give me a partial refund or a full refund if I didn't like the tails or if they were damaged. Plus he said he'd also take care of the shipping too. But the items were exactly as they described.
Top notch on his part. One of the better sellers I have ever dealed with.

Bought a vert window regulator from him. Lightning quick shipping.
He was very open to working with me when I thought there was a problem with the regulator. Great communication through the whole transaction. We worked out a deal where if the part gives me problems in the next few months to let him know.
Great guy and I'll definitly look to him when I need parts.

Excellent seller. Prompt (with shipping and message responces), courteous, intelligent and professional. These are things you rarely find in a private seller anymore.

Well , such a nice thread for this chap. Unfortunetly I must have been sold his garbage day parts.
For anybody else reading this (especially if you are buying interior plastic), make sure when he says "as-is untested " that he doesn't mean "it's really also cracked, with large broken pieces missing" and get pictures from a few angles as he will send you pics that are to his advantage.
On a positive note, he does have at least good communication.Thanks for the garbage,every single piece of plastic you sold me was useless.

Just an FYI on the above message by "The Griffin". I don't even see it since I have him on my ignore list so I can only imagine (eye roll).
My version: This buyer contacted my roughly 6 months after a transaction claiming I had improperly shipped him goods, what I shipped was damaged, etc. Let me repeat that...SIX MONTHS after the fact!
In my opinion his anger filled PMs led me to believe he might have some other personal issues in his life and I explained I was unwilling to do anything SIX MONTHS AFTER THE FACT, since for all I know he could have broken the parts. If the parts truly ever were damaged, I asked why he did not contact me immediately. I put him on ignore after another rude message.
I have had only one other issue in all other transactions on this site and I offered the buyer money back if the part broke (which it has not) and I believe he has posted in this thread about my customer service/being a good seller as well.
So I'll let the club decide (not that a lot of people search) but I'll let all the happy people who have dealt with me here + my 100% feedback on EBAY stand for me over one poor buyer. I would STRONGLY urge caution in dealing with THE GRIFFIN. He is the reason I no longer ship outside of the US.

I'm not looking for compensation ,nor did I ask you for any 6 months after the fact.
I'm just stating fact, and posting so another forum member doesn't get stuck with a box of useless plastic. That's my experiance for what it's worth. And by the way screwing someone outside the US is no different then screwing someone in your own country, OK?

Hey my man, How are things goin?.... I bought a turbo II hood from this guy and a OEM spoiler and was exactly as he promised me. I had the priviledge to meet him during the transaction givin he was only an hour and a half away from me. My 90 GTUs, I just recently purchased, is my project car and after dealing with this guy, I can honestly say that I will get as many parts as I can from him until he runs out of things I need.

Grande is Grande!
My experience was good. Gringo was super quick and, professional. Hey, the part was the wrong one due to being different for a model w/airbags. That's ok, he sent a refund just as quickly as he did everything else. I will not hesitate to contact him in the future, if I'm having trouble finding something.
