So like 3-4 years ago a bought a PnP HID kit from Retro-Solutions. The kit had a lifetime warranty (from manufacture defects). like 8 months ago one of the bulbs went out, but i was lazy (also didn't want to get pulled over) so i through a halogen bulb in there. several reasons led me to drag my feet in sending it in. finally, (after the halogen went out) i sent the bulb in having followed their warranty instructions. In about a week i received the replacement bulb. its in and the wife is happy, i only wish i had done it sooner. very happy with them, my only compliant is there wasn't any contact regarding receiving the bulb on their end. but not a big deal because of their speed.

Just an update, the other side went out, and they were very poor at getting it solved. despite having just sent the other one months earlier, they claimed they didnt have my info. finally they found my info, but tried claiming the failure wasnt covered by the warranty. finally they agreed to replace it with me paying for the shipping.
Ultimately i think it would be better to buy 2 $30 kits off ebay, and replace pieces as they fail. especially considering you could get 5 kits of ebay for the price of one of theirs.
