Atkins Rotary
Read the big one directional smear against Atkins so I thought I would post my history too..
I have been running the camden supercharger for almost 9 years now. I have pushed it way past it's design limits on several occasions and learned my lessons with tuning on it too.
Don't flame the camden here, that is not what this post is about. I have praised and knocked the camden over the years myself. It does have it's place and does it's job well.
As a result of my experiments, I have broken the camden twice. On both occasions Dan and Dave Atkins were very supportive. They provided an education, were helpful with all aspects as I did the rebuilt myself. Most companies would just say ship it here and "we will do it" and send a big bill. I have also blown up a couple of motors (not atkins builds) with my experiments with the limits.
Next, a buddy with a camden swallowed a carb stud. Once again I received great support and prompt shipping as I helped address his issue.
I also bought a camden off ebay and atkins again was supportive with all the necessary parts for a thorough rebuild.
When I was in Seattle on business I dropped into Atkins. Dave spent an hour with me showing me his history in the shop including porting, engines, his old race car, etc....everything!
Dan has always been prompt and professional over the phone, and they never hesitate to call me back on the long distance dime.
I have bought many other parts over the years from them and I would recommend them to anyone. If the rotary is to survive we need to keep businesses like Atkins, racingbeat, goopy, mazdatrix, rx7specialties, etc around or we might as well just crush all the old rx7's.

Dave started talking and asked me if I have seen his race car and I answered no. Spent close to a half hour showing it to me along with his Cosmo and telling me old stories.
Awesome guys!
