Hi i bought a 85 FB from the original owner, who bought it locally and garaged it in mint condition the life of the car and only drove to work and back down the street, spend all my money to get this, and it was stored in the boat yard for four years, and after four years of sitting he put the key in started it and after a few minutes of smoke it took off down the parking lat in the back of the shed, he let me keep it out back for a few weeks until i could register it, then to my horror one night i was adjusting the headlights and when i was backing her into another spot the floormat jammed the gas pedal down and befor ei could react i launched into the side of a boat trailer and an international transport truck, needless to say i stop very quickly, the boat damge was like 3 grand and i paid if off, and my "Friend" said he would fix it, well the res tof my money went into tools for my new career in Sound Audio, well he fucked me over and the car is drivable the rear end is smashed a bit, needs bodywork and new braklights and a rear glass hatch, not too bad, and the bumper wasnt even hit so its like no frame damage, she drove away afte rthe accident and to this day drives normally, but legally i need it fixed here in the south shore of mass, i love this car and im not giving up on it even though im scrambbling to keep the situation stable, THIS IS TO ANYONE WHO KNOWS ANY GOOD RX7 ENTHUSISTS near by or know and good quailty bodywork guys that could help me out, or let me pay over time, i dont have a large sum of money but i always pay for someones work if they do a good job, but i need all the help i can get, i was brougth to tears when i steppped out of her and looked back at was a perfectly kept car until the accident, its been hard going out and sitting it it with teh back end taped up, so if you no anyone on teh mass coastline please let me know.............................................. .................
