WTF...Has anybody else seen this site?

These guys LOVE the rotary engine and obviously are dedicated to tap into the true power of the rotary engine, which is the exhaust....or kinetic energy. they has made a 35mpg RX-8!!! it utilizes a third smaller rotor to control the highway cruising and the bigger stock rotors to take care of the heavy engine loads....kinda like displacement on demand. also they are using a traction drive gear box to help maximize the output of a turbo on a TII....it's just crazy.

http://www.rotaryeng.net/index.html

Scroll down until you see these two links, very interesting info about how the rotary can actually be powerful and economical.....the RX-8 has 260 hp and got like 35mpg on the highway!!!

Did anyone else notice the Car and Driver July 2006 Article about the 390hp turbocharged RX-8 by Protech?

imagine a rotary that had 260+hp and got 35mpg on the highway!!! it's sad to see that the rotary has all this potential but no major funding to back it up! the guy who runs the site said that his rx8 is 25mpg, but can easily be made to go 30mpg. they can make a killing if they actually sold engines like these.
