WA wont tunover?

I will try to keep this THREAD short and on point.Assuming you had a 79sa.rx7 stock except for Headers and its a Automatic and One day it wont start.(this question to you guys is in the theory of nothing wrong with car prior to this)And you turn over and over Many times (nothing)Again you got spark got gas ETC.Next couple of days keep turning it over and over. Then it stops turning over...Only Clue i got guys is when i turn it over by hand its ok and right before complete turn it gets Very hard to turn and then the situation repeats it self? Its been sitting in my Garage going on 3 mos.Agin i stress there were no signs of any thing wrong prior..THanks for your time guys..scottmac

Pop the hood, remove the EGI fuse. Turn ignition (it wont start), await a bit....turn ignition again...wait....turn ignition again. Put EGI Fuse back, turn ignition and viola!

WA still the same

Thanks for replys. But i dont think Egi fuses pertain to 79sa. motors and i WISH just needed to be de flooded..ITS more serious then that. When you turn it by hand its fine until a certain point and then its very tight and a bear to turn. You can get through a complete intervel but you GET to the were it hard to turn AGAIN.THE only real DNA to go with this as a clue was the car was fine until it wouldnt start and i turn it over and over Many times until now. Thanks for any suggestions.

Need more information. (Details.)

Did you mess with the car while it was sitting? Why did it sit for 3 months? How old is the gas? Was ANY work done to the car in this 3 month period??

wont turn over Part2

Thanks for responding its starting to feel like years since i talked about THECAR.There was NO symptoms that anything was wrong prior to the wont turn over part.I will try to be as consise as possible.I just thought it wouldnt hurt to put a gas additive in tank. This i did.But like a idiot i put the NEW rear gas filter on backwards and wondered WHY it was running poorly.SO not ever thinking i put thefilter on wrong i fooled with timing.DID the turn over dry plugs do it again over and over.SO this went on for couple of days.Mind you the GAS is good got spark everything. It just seems like got tired of turning over it felt hot so i stopped cranking it.THATS why its been sitting for 3mos.AND when iturn by hand its ok until a certain point and ten its hard to turn.scott
