Won't stay running
Heya guys, have an '88 N/A. Just got it running not too long ago, tried to get it moving today. It starts up right away every time, although runs a bit rough, and I was able to rev it up slightly (the highest it would rev was 2.3k and the revs wern't very responsive vs the pedal). She idled a bit, died, idled a bit, died, then by the end, she would only start, and pretty much as soon as it started, it died.
Fuel pump is directly connected to power, i just put a few gallons of fresh gas in it. I just need to move it to my garage so I can start tearing it appart, maybe a few hundred feet.
I'm used to shitty idles on V8s being vacuum problems, but this sure as hell isn't a v8 :P Any help would be appreciated.

Vacuum leaks are a good place to begin. You can also set the TPS's Green/Red wire to 1 volt w/key to on after the engine is as possibly hot as it can get. The fuel filter, fuel pump sock, injectors might be a bit clogged. You also might want to check the Water Thermosensor and at pin 2I of the ECU (Green/White wire) it should read 2 to 3 volts cold w/key to on and eventually drops to .4 volts completely warmed. And the catalytic converters could be clogged. And the ECU/engine grounds could be rather poor.

I cleaned off all the grounds, sprayed some carb cleaner around all the vacuum lines i could find, no leaks detected, and checked fuel filter, they're all good. I don't think the cats are clogged either, she's smoking quite well out of the tail pipes :P
I got it idling again after letting it sit for a couple of hours. Still not responsive on the revs. It idled though, and I put it in gear, it engaged. Every time I tried to rev it up, however slightly, she dies. I just wanna move it before the snow gets here so I can drop my 5.0 in it! haha
Can't get it warmed up, but I'll set the TPS when I get to it next. What does this water thermosensor affect?
