AL will a engine detiorate over 7 years?

Hello everyone. Im tryn to sell a 13b-rew short block. The engine was running before it was removed from the car. Its been sitting for 7 years now and im wondering over that period of time will it affect the engine? Any input?

chances are it'll be very hard to start after sitting that long. put a little oil into the plug holes and rotate it around every so often since it can't be started and run a little to keep the apex seals from getting stuck in the rotors.
