well i pretty much killed my t2 today...


sooo i was thinking bout goin with a street ported fd motor...

my question is , whoes done it, and what do i need???

i need to find out soon, becuase i have a motor in mind already, just gotta figure out what i need...

 

I have an REW in my FC, and before you ask, it doesnt run, but not for lack of trying. I just ran out of money and my wife is forcing me to sell mine. The biggest problem is getting stuff to match up right.

What I did is get someone to make me some mounts to get the thing to pretty much be a bolt in. ( Since I'm scrapping the project I can sell you these a lot cheaper then what I paid for them ) Get a Turbo tranny (s4 or S5 ) and bolt evertything up. From there I got a banzai wiring harness and plugged that into the FD ECU that I put into the car. I opted to use the car's stock oil cooler so I made some lines. converted the engine to non seq.

 

do you have pics of the mounts.. ill be glad to take them off your hands...ima have motor by next month, soo im trying to prep up before i get it..

ima drop it into my s5 t2.

can you point out what doesnt match up eaxctly? like wiring etc..

about how much is the banzai harness harness?

handle son. i remember seeing a dude selling his FC with a FD block.

 

Man.. I get names confused and stuff. I dont know what to sell the block for. I know the compression is good and Ive got to get rid of msoe of this stuff fairly quickly.

 

Not sure either. Id take the whole thing, but Im in Canada and dont want to do the hassle of towing and customs. So I just want an engine.
