Wheres the dipstick? [New to rotary]

Hi, im new to this forum.. I just bought a fd a few days back n started doin some checkups to the engine. Somehow i cant seem to find the engine's dipstick. The only dipstick that i managed to find is the transmission's. I've searched the engine diagram for the dipstick but i still couldnt find it. Your help would be much appreciated.

The dipstick is located underneath the intake elbow on the left side of the car. It's got a thin yellow loop handle. Just look for the spark plug wires, the dipstick a slighty in front of that.

oh ok.. found it.. was searching high n low for it but just cant seem to find it previously. Thank you very much.

a little off-topic.. but do u know whats the use of the 'plug' near the bottom right of the dipstick? is it an overflow 'plug' ? coz it seems like all my radiator water is draining from there everytime i refill it. for now i have inserted a 'cap' to hold the water in.
am i suppose to do this or shud i just leave as it is and let all the water flow out?
