where do these solenoid plugs go in? pictures included.

ok i just got this car not that long ago, its a 90 gxl jdm 90 turbo ii swap i believe, heres my dilema, my water thermostat went out (dont know where its at, so direction to it would be nice ) going through the engine i found a boost leak on a pipe the guy put in, already welded up no worries, and theres quite a few plugs NOT plugged in im thinking are pretty crucial cause my afr is way off and it running really rough. heres the plugs
these are all solenoid plugs but have NO idea where they plug in, some guidance with that would be very nice. and lastly this looks like the plug to a sensor? i just dont know which, it comes out of the top of the block and out of a hole kinda thing. its a long wire with a long single female connector thats grey.

finally this is what ive been using for information and im 98% positive this is for a fd not a fc. lol. lame.

Go to the 2nd gen section and read the FAQ. There a links to places you can download the FSM. You can also search that section for color vacuum diagrams, which will also show emissions solenoids. That last picture is not for an FC, so it's basically useless to you.

In your first picture, whatever that is, it doesn't look OEM. There should not be anything stuck in the top of the housing like that. Unless it's just resting there in the picture? If that's the case, I would guess knock sensor. The knock sensor threads above a spark plug on S5s.

From your second picture, the orange plug is for the FPR solenoid, blue is the relief solenoid & gray is the switching solenoid. All 3 of these are on the emission rack, under the oil filler neck. (the FD diagram actually shows the same color coding for these plugs)
