Hi all- I am gearing up to buy a 3rd gen RX7 as a hobby to mod up and maybe do some aero work on.

I'm pretty much a newbie to car modding in general and so I'd like to know what your oppinions are as far as "what comes first" from a performance mod perspective.

I've read alittle on 300zx twin turbos and one site said it was a cheap 1500.00 to get a "Stage III" setup that netted 100hp. 1500.00 for 100hp isn't too bad =) I'm not sure if there is anything quite like that for RX7s though.

I guess i'm looking for resources on how to proceed. I don't expect to be able to jump straight in and just know this stuff automatically, but I'd at least like to have some idea on how to proceed and which mods would be more important/best gains.

What am I going to use the car for? Pure fun. I already have an everyday car, so this will be just a fun car I'll enjoy eating up roads with. But I think I'd like to see it get up over the 300hp.

So, where do we begin?
