Wheels:How to polish them??

Anyone out there have a first Gen??? and if so, what do you guys do about your wheels that have all the clear coat off of them and there is some aluminum pitting and discolorization? Have any of you guys had them re-polished professionally and re-clear coated? And if so, do you know who does this ??? and what it might cost?? I have a 84 GSL-SE that needs the wheels re-done badddd....Any one got ideas or someone in N.C. area?? Thanks for your help....cjf

maybe you should try posting this same thread in the forum for your region - you might get some results that are better suited for your location.

however, on the issue of the actual polishing of the rims, i remember seeing a thread a few months back about this. it was about the 13 inch stockers, but i don't see why the same things wouldn't apply to the SE rims. try doing a search in the Gen I forum and see what that fetches for ya'

hope this helps
