Question Wheel Conversion

Hi, I am currently trying to find a way to convert the wheel pattern on a '85 RX-7 GSL, I am working with the 4 lug pattern, I am trying to
use Front Wheel Drive 4x100 wheels, First, will I be able to fit the 17x7.5" Wheels at stock hieght, second, how do I go about changing the
bolt pattern or using adapters, and what size adapters will I need? I would like to know if there is another vehicle I can swap parts from to
do this swap inexpensively, or if I just need to go with adapters. The wheels I am hoping to use are coming of a '96 VW Golf if that helps
any.

Can anyone help me out? We would like to resolve this issue by the weekend if possible. Thanks guys.

You need the hubs and associated equipment from a 84-85 GSL-SE (13B N/A motor). I think thats 4x114.3 or whatever that measurement is...

uhh, ok

Ok, I am not sure that helps me, 114.3x4 is not 4x100, Won't bolt up, I need 4x100, nothing else, I will run adapters if i have too, as long as I can bolt up FWD 4x100 17" Rims in the end. Any ideas along those lines?
