This is a pretty accurate (with only minor errors) breakdown of the models:

An N/A car is gonna be reasonably cheap and a better car for you to learn on.

The things to look for are making sure they took care of the car... such as regular oil changes. A compression test by a Mazda Mechanic is a must. Rust is relatively rare on an RX except for around the hatch, sunroof and lower door area.

Don't get one that has been wrecked in the front end. It is almost impossible to get the subframe straight again.

BTW, as some one that has been your age and then some IMO: You should drive your sisters Prizim until you are 18 and get some more experience driving. Then get yourself a sport car like the RX7.

If u are interested in working on car, then get it. Even with NA you`ll have a lot of fun. But before u`ll by one, look really good, first one isn`t always best deal ;o)))
