what grade of engine oil

I own a 1995 gen 3 rx7 twin turbo. What type of engine oil do you recommend to use for an oil change? thanks rob

I would say 10w-30 or 20-50

if its cold there use 10-30 if its warm 20-50 use mineral oil. no synthetic bad things can happen.

Bad things can happen with synthetics?

Bad things can happen with any oil that has a high soot content when burned off, synthetic or mineral.

If you don't feel comfortable with synthetics then don't use them but I certainly won't hesitate and I think the majority would agree with me.
