what fuel pump?

Maybe it has been discussed before, but I need some info on this. Currently my 1982 has a stock fuel pump, feeding a mikuni on a stock-ported 12A.
But I will be installing a 13B six port soon, and might turbo-charge that one someday (let's say in a few months). Obviously, the stock pump will get in trouble then. What should I use? I have a complete 1986 FC N/A as a donor for this project, so could this pump be used? If not, what should I get, and how should it be mounted. When using a out of tank pump, what would be a good spot to mount it (safely). Maybe a link to some (generic) site would be helpfull. It doesn't have to be a Seven getting a new pump, it's just more about general technics here.
Thanks.

the 86 pump (or any other EFI pump) is too much for the Mikuni. get a Holley or Carter pump and the approprite regulator for your setup.

no no, I won't keep the Mikuni. That was just the current setup. I will have a 13B six-port, with ported intake and exhaust, and someday a turbo. (i'll install TII rotors during the rebuild). I will either use the stock EFI, or aftermarket. But no carb!

you need an external pump for a 1st gen.
i would leave the stock pump until you swap and then get a good pump for the 6port setup
