Transmission

I Have A 1990 Mazda Rx7 Automatic And It Has Transmision Problems It Will Not Shift To Any Gear Unless I Let The Gas Pedal Go,also The Hold Light Flashes Constantly,to Me It Feels Like All Th Gears Are In Hold Mode Cause When I Hold The Gas Pedal The Car Revs Up To 7oo0 Rpm,have Anybody Run Across The Same Problem?

90 is electronic controlled shifts.....you have an electrical problem also the holsd light is flashing to tell you there is an electrical problem too.......check or get the transmisson controller for codes you mihgt also find codes in the engine controller too that will affect the tranny.

i did check it for codes nothing on transmission came up
