TPS Question

Hi i went to pick and pull today and picked up a tps from a 87 automatic to put in my 86 manual. im just wondering if the tps's were different in the automatic models?

the TPS unit itself is the same between all s4's
the s5 unit is two of the same senders ( 1- 5 k ohm +/- 1 K ohm )
in a common plug , with one of them working from an extra, full stroke cam
( for a full range TPS )

convertible s5 units have the twin TPS positions reversed to run off a revised cam setup
