tps problems

does anybody know how to check tps when the car wont start. is there a way or not ?

Using VOM on ohms scale, the readings should sweep smoothly from 1k to 5k (with the AWS cam backed off)

ok thank also one more thing i happened to take off my secondary injectors off while replacing hoses.the green plastic part of the tip of the injectors broke off.would that be a problem cause my car wont start now that i put everything back together.

If the pintle was broken and fell off, there should be no problem. IF when the pintle got broken the injectors internal tip got damaged...not good. You know, that little stem that the pintle covers up. Probably not the problem.
