towing/trailering FD question - S10 balzer

first Im not sure where to put this. I have an 2003 S10 Blazer and was wondering if anyone has one and if thay have trailered their RX7 with it. I have a 3rd gen and was wondering if Im going to goof up my Blazer if I start trailering my Fd to events.

Is it a full size trailer or a dolly. What size motor in your blazer? You sould be good as long as you are nice about it and don't use overdrive. It is a truck, I don't see why you couldn't.

iirc, i think rceron trailered his fd with a v6 blazer sometimes. he said it was difficult and has since gotten a more powerful tow vehicle. i think he also had an aluminum trailer which is lighter.

Trailers vary a lot in how much they weigh. An open trailer will weigh at least 1500 pounds, and some 2000 pounds. Add spare tires, tools, your RX-7, and you have about 5000 pounds you are pulling. Your 4.3 V-6 can do it, but it will have to run near full throttle most of the time. A weak cooling system or any other weakness will show up quickly.

You must have electric trailer brakes to safely and quickly stop the rig.

Or you could have somebody sit in your fd and hit the brakes whenever you hit the brakes. lol j/k. But you might want a full sized suv or truck to tow it in a timely matter.
