Timing problem

I was driving the car and it was runing great, I slowed to make a turn and when I tryed to acc after the turn it felt like the car was "missing" upto 3k then it feels fine. I drove it home and started checking the plugs/wires/dizz ect. the trailing plugs spark seem weird (to me but they maybe normal im not 100% sure), why they have a spark its weak compared to the leading plugs. I checked the wires, they are fine. I replaced the plugs, wires, dizzy, and rotor about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I also tryed adj the mixture screw and did no good. I put a totaly diff carb on and it giving me the same problem. So I check timing and the leading mark is even with the stud, the trailing keeps jumping from where its even with the red mark to where its even with the yellow one. So I killed the car and was told to check the spark plug hole make sure it wasnt dirty, so i take the plugs out clean the holes and put the plugs in, still the same. I check the timing again and this time both leading and trailing are set to the yellow mark and I cant get the red notch to move for ****. I need to know if it might be the magnets or some to do with them that control the vac advance. PLZ HELP

So I have tryed:

Carb
plugs
wires
replaced the coil

Could it be lack of compression causing the ruff idel, and the ruff idel cause of timing prob? I havent done a compression test, but I have taken the plugs out and listened, sounds good.
