Throttle Body extraction
I've ordered my Factory Service Manual but it hasn't come in yet. Something has come up and I can't wait for it. I need to take out my throttle body but have never done this before. Does anyone have any write-ups or instructions for me? It's a '93 13b...

After you remove the elbow (4 bolts, 2 top, 2 bottom), you will need to remove 4 bolts holding the throttle body (TB) to the upper intake manifold (UIM). I believe all these bolts are 10mm.
Unbolt your accelerator cable that is attached to the TB in the front. A water coolant hose is attached to your TB in the rear, you'll need to disconnect that too (careful, coolant will spill out here).
If this is the first time your throttle body has been off in a while, BE CAREFUL, the gasket may be sticky and you don't want to tear it when pulling it from the UIM.
May find help here too or pm me.
