ON Testing for boost leak

Hey guys need a bit of help,Ive got a TII s5 and doesnt seem to bulid boost as well as it use to,so I used a schrader valve and test cap but am unable to achive any pressure I can hear it leaking out instantaly,I removed the tmic and retested at the throttle body with the same result,it sounds as if its under the uim but is there a chance that the rotor have to be in a specific position so it will not leak straight out the exhaust? Thanx Chad

It should not bleed off that fast Chad.
If you look at the S5 TII lower manifold(inner side, near the injector bungs) you will see a hose that runs across the Injector bleeds. It could be that..(just a guess)
try that.

Think about it.
If the rotor had a position to leak out air it would not compress air efficiently. That is the job of the apex seals..
