Stray Current. Cooling system.
Getting about 300mv with the black electrode on the negative battery post and the red electrode in the coolant. switching on a few lights and starting the engine doesnt seem to affect it. Have perfect ground to the radiator. Around 50/50 glycol/distilled water.
Is this acceptable? What is the normal stray current for a 2 rotor engine?
Its a brand new and expensive custom rad so dont want to take chances.

Also seem to be getting about 2.7a from the neg battery post to the neg battery terminal. Which doesnt make sense since the battery doesnt go flat when the car is sitting.
Pulled all the fuses one by one and no difference.
Meanwhile i've decided to flush and replace the coolant since i only topped it up when i changed the rad and was hoping the coolant voltage might be the result of some kind of chemical electolosys.
On my third fill of tap water at the moment before i put the flushing chemicals in - still getting nearly 300mv.
Is this normal or not? Any help, opinions, wisdom, jokes, trolling quite welcome at this point.

Is it one of Weel's?
The other week, a workshop owning mate mentioned they dynoed a datto, a day or two later, they had coolant peeing out the rad and the current had even gnawed a hole in the head. Apparently when the owner rang PWR and mentioned the coolant he was using, there was lots of no, no - no!

Long Life Concentrated Coolant - Nulon Products Australia
This one^ along with same brand distilled water.
The old rad showed no sign of corrosion though. 0.3v!
