Stock fuel injector sizes

Hi,

I have searched this forum now for a couple of days, and I am looking for the stock fuel injector sizes (both primary and secondary) off of various 13B's. We have a large junkyard outside of my town and I have been eyeing several of the rx7's there for fuel injectors, as I've heard they are a nice upgrade from the one's our cars run (if you didn't read the profile, I'm a DSM'er). It would be easy to take what our forums say as to size as gospel, but I don't have the luxury or extra cash to repair my engine when it blows from running too lean because I thought the injectors were bigger than they really are, so I figured I would ask the experts. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

Greg Heineken

all years. looking for top feed low impedance. The injectors suggested were the first gen secondaries(2 sets needed, 720cc?) or the second gen primaries (550cc, only need one set?) would like something around/above 650cc, but can deal with 550's

Just got off the phone with my local yard and the rx7's are no longer there However, I'd still like to get the injector sizes for future reference, and if anyone can point me in the direction of a mazda or rx-7 specialty yard anywhere, or might know where a yard in the sw oklahoma/north texas region are, I'd appreciate it. Please understand, I'm a DSM person; cheap is the name of the game here and nothing comes cheaper than parts from other cars!

All U.S.-spec RX-7's...

1984 - 1985 GSL-SE
Top feed, ND, low-impedence, 680cc/min - note, these engines ONLY have two fuel injectors

1986 - 1991, non-turbo
Top feed, ND, both low- and high impedence depending on years, 460cc/min, two primary and two secondary - all are identical

1987 - 1991, Turbo II
Top feed, ND, low- and high-impedence depending on years, 550cc/min, two primary and two secondary - all are identical
