Stock air pump removal

I have a stock 93 FD. I am swapping turbos for a pair that have less miles than mine and have been recently rebuilt and I want to pull the air pump off and not replace it. Can this be done or will it screw everything up? Thanks

The car will idle rich unless you have an ECU that you can lean out at idle . You will need a new belt and you will need to make some block off plates . When you disconnect the wire to the clutch nothing will happen .
