HELP!!! i have a 93 tt wih hks dp, hks n1 cat and i get alot of backfire, can anyone tell me why it drives me crazy. it happends wen i let off the gas. thanks

 

none of those mods you have would cause it to run lean enough to cause a back fire, I dont think. I would look for something that is hot hooked back up. Make shore the o2 senser is hooked back up right as well as all the vacume lines around where you where working to start with. Does it run rough and does it still have a healthy boost pattern?

Mine did the same thing... I kind of liked the whole shooting a flame thing. Plus Its a great way to get attention. If you want to rid yourself of this problem get a PowerFC mine refuses to do it anymore without a little coaxing. Dont worry itll be fine.
