now ive posted this in second gen specifik but i figure it couldnt hurt to post it here either..

ok so this is now the second time its happened to me in my 86 rx7 GXL.. im leaving from a stop and my tranny or shifter wont let me into second. or back into first or any other gear.. well i managed to temporarly rectify that buy forcing the car into third gear..( had to do because i wasint any where near home..) but this time first and second are stiff as hell to get into, but third fourth fifth and reverse are fine.. im pretty shure its not my clutch because it was replaced less than a year ago and for 5 months my liscence was under suspension. so the clutch has half a years use on it..about 20,000k on it. any ideas as to what it is or ways to remedy it.. and just a side note but money is tight for me right now. reely tight.

 

first check fluid level in clutch master cylinder, then bleed the clutch. if that don`t get it and the hose and slave cylinder are okay then I`d say the pilot bearing needs replaced.
