Secondary Turbo Problem (pressure tank / boost sensor)
hi guys,
i'm having issues with my 2nd turbo spool. i recently changed all the vacuum hoses a few days ago thinking this is the cure as the 2nd turbo seems to be missing, and upon shifting (as i have read here) it suddenly comes alive kicking in.
since i changed all the lines, i was expecting the car to pull hard, the traffic in Manila won't help me see the solved issue right away, however the low end torque seemed to be 20% stronger.
when i was replacing the lines, i saw 2 ripped open vacuum hoses but replaced both with new silicones.
i just noticed today that the pull on the 2nd was still weak, and thinking the PRESSURE SENSOR is the culprit, if it is leaking how do i fix it? is it as simple as finding the leak and sealing it with silicone?
also, i found that the short hose linking the one way valve to the boost sensor was restricted into 90 degrees, kind of strangling the hose a little. is that a probable cause too?
hope to hear from any of you with your ideas soon, thanks in advance! cheers!
