I get in my car and put on my seat belt and the beeping stops but the dash light will not go away.

Also, i have a check engine light that is coming on because a code six is detected which has something to do with the speediameter. Please give me some advice i just recently got this 94 rx7. Any help is greatly appreicated.

there is a switch in the seatbelt receptical that goes to the cpu. i think you are going to need to see if that part of the system works. you should find the "body electrical troubleshooting manual" you can still buy it new from the dealer, or maybe you could find one on ebay
